Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 10, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how ClawControl collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use our website, waitlist forms, applications, APIs, and managed services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Contact data, such as name, work email, company, and waitlist submissions.
  • Account and organization data, such as login identifiers, roles, and org membership.
  • Service configuration data, such as runtime settings, instance metadata, and templates.
  • Credentials and secrets you submit for service operation, such as model API keys, messaging platform tokens, and cloud provider tokens.
  • Operational telemetry, audit events, diagnostics, and security logs.
  • Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser metadata, and interaction analytics.

3. How We Use Data

We use data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Services.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure and OpenClaw integrations requested by you.
  • Authenticate users, enforce permissions, and prevent abuse or unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate with you about updates, incidents, support, and legal notices.
  • Improve reliability, performance, and product functionality.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK/Similar Jurisdictions)

Where required by law, we rely on one or more legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for security, operations, and improvements), consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data with:

  • Service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, communications, and security operations.
  • Third-party integrations that you configure or authorize.
  • Authorities or counterparties where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. If "sale" or "sharing" is defined broadly under state privacy law, you can request applicable opt-out rights as described below.

6. Security and Credential Handling

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted storage for managed secrets and access controls.

No security measure is perfect. You are responsible for secure key generation, least-privilege scopes, prompt credential revocation, and safe operation of your OpenClaw agents and integrations.

7. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, satisfy legal and security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and operational need.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries different from your own. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export certain personal data, and to appeal a denied request where required by law.

U.S. state residents may have additional rights regarding categories of data collected, sources, purposes, disclosures, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

To submit a privacy request, contact support@clawcontrol.dev.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can remove it.

11. Third-Party Services and OpenClaw

Our Services integrate with third-party systems, including OpenClaw and model providers you select. Their data handling practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

For OpenClaw security context, see Gateway Security and Threat Model.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our providers may use cookies or similar technologies for session management, security, and site functionality. Waitlist capture currently uses Kit forms, which may apply its own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with that form.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

14. Contact
